We collect only what we need to deliver coffee and stay in touch. We do not sell your details on, and we do not track you.

What we collect
From the contact form: your name, email, phone number and message. With orders also the business ID, company name, delivery address and what was ordered. We also note what coffee you use and what we have agreed, so we do not ask the same things twice.
What we use it for
Answering messages, delivering and invoicing orders, and keeping the books. The basis is a contract for orders, legitimate interest for enquiries, and a legal obligation for accounting.
Where it is kept
On a server in Germany (Hetzner), email through Migadu in Switzerland and payments through Mollie in the Netherlands. Switzerland is not in the EU, but the EU has ruled its data protection adequate. Nothing goes outside that circle. We never handle card details ourselves, they stay with Mollie.
How long we keep it
A private customer's details are removed from the order after three months. The order line stays in our statistics without the name, email and address, so nobody can be identified from it any more. Business customers' details are kept for as long as the relationship lasts, or until you ask us to delete them. Messages from the contact form are kept until you ask us to delete them: the message was sent to us, and we have to be able to come back to it later.
No cookies and no individual tracking
This site uses no cookies. We only count how many times a page was opened, which link it was reached from, and which country it was opened in. The country is worked out from the IP address on our own server, and the address is not stored anywhere. We look at the country to see whether it is worth translating the site into another language and starting to deliver there. The counter runs on our server in Germany and gives you no identifier. When you switch language your browser remembers what you had typed for a moment, so the text is not lost. That never reaches us.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details. Order data that belongs to the accounts cannot be deleted before the retention period has passed. Send requests to hello@lovisakafferosteri.fi. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
